ABOUT THE COLLAB

To celebrate Mom, Curaleaf is partnering with Soap Distillery, a female-founded and owned business known for its innovative and handcrafted soaps. Soap Distillery creates quality body and home goods with a focus on responsibly made, refined aromas. From sustainably sourced ingredients, to responsible manufacturing processes, to fully compostable packaging, they are committed to offering quality, planet-friendly goods. This spring, we’ve partnered with them to create a limited run of soaps. And while our custom soaps don’t contain THC, we’ve extracted the herbal elements to mimic the same terpenes, inspired by two of our favorite strains: Tropicana Banana and Ray C.

MEET TROPICANA BANANA

This soap features notes of ripe banana, tropical fruit, and pineapple with a touch of earthy hemp and refreshing eucalyptus—a tropical oasis in every lather.

MEET RAY C

This soap pays homage to the legendary musician, combining hits of fresh berry and grape with cool undertones of clove, pine, and spice.

TERPENES: THE SECRET SAUCE OF SELF-CARE

Did you know the same essential compounds found in our favorite self-care botanicals—like lavender and citrus—are also found in certain strains of cannabis? Terpenes are organic compounds found in various plants—including pine trees, citrus fruits, and cannabis—providing them with their distinctive aromas and flavors. Terpenes serve several functions in nature, like attracting pollinators, deterring predators, and protecting plants from environmental stresses.

When it comes to cannabis, terpenes play a key role in the overall effects and therapeutic benefits that different strains may provide. They interact with cannabinoids like THC and CBD to produce what's known as the entourage effect, where the combination of multiple compounds enhances the overall therapeutic effects of the plant.
