At Select we began the Women’s Cannabis Collective to advocate for women in the cannabis industry each and every day. This year, on March 8th in celebration of International Women’s Day, and focusing on the theme of #BreakTheBias, we will continue to provide this support.

The Women’s Cannabis Collective exists to encourage, support, and celebrate the women who are helping to build this industry the right way – now, and in the future. To kick off the month, on International Women’s Day, Select will champion not just these women, but all women. Whether you are a cannabis connoisseur, budtender, or a budding cannabis entrepreneur, we want to hear your story. Tag @select.better with your #BreakTheBias story or message and we will share with our community, providing a platform for you to be seen and heard.

In addition to amplifying these strong women, we are also planning a series of networking events. The events will allow women to gather together providing a place for them to find like-minded colleagues they can seek advice from, potentially partner with, and ultimately create a community where they will feel supported.

Dispensaries will also be offering Women’s Cannabis Collective gifts with the purchase of Select products during Women’s History Month, allowing you to proudly display your support for the movement and for women.

This is just the start, there is still a long way to go to fully #BreakTheBias. Select is fully committed to leading the charge to break down the barriers and stigmas in order to make the cannabis industry a level playing field for all, and an industry we are proud to be a part of.
